Multidisciplinary Design Innovation

This portfolio displays a snapshot of the work carried out during my Multidisciplinary Design Innovation (MA) degree.  It tells stories of design, research and strategy completed by a team of 15 students, for four large international clients. These clients had an active input throughout the course of the projects, each lasting between 4 and 8 weeks.

For confidentiality reasons, specific solutions are not revealed, instead the focus here is to show process.


Mars, Bowers & Wilkins, British Airways, Unilever


Researcher, idea generator, strategist, project manager, collator, documenter, designer, presenter ...our team did not have dedicated roles, and so we found ourselves becoming very flexible workers!


Print Design, Storytelling, Strategy

Project One: A collaborative research and design project with Matter, a Bristol based design consultancy and Mars; international confectionary brand.

Project Two: A strategic design project in collaboration with the elite international audio brand Bowers & Wilkins.

Project Three: A collaboration with London based design consultancy, Forpeople, alongside British Airways; Britain's representative airline.

Project Four: A research, design and communication project in answer to a challenge set by Unilever.

Alongside formal verbal presentations, each client was given a printed book which documented the entire process and solutions for the project. I collated, designed and formatted the majority of these print-ready documents.
